Establishing Professional Contacts
For this assignment we were to contact two early childhood professionals outside the United States. I have attempted to contact four professional from the NAEYC and UNICEF website; as of now I do not have a response from either. I plan to reach out again, but from other websites in of hopes of getting a response as I think it would be interesting to hear their views.

I reached out to Haiti and the Netherlands. Hope I will get a response soon and the website they came from where the ISSA. I'm interested in seeing whatand how other countries view education. Thanks for sharing

ReplyDeleteGood Luck on getting responses back. I have one contact, so far. I networked with some folks and WOW- that works. UNICEF does some amazing work. My Senior high students collect monies for them each October and they love the feeling of doing their part.

ReplyDeleteFor a contact at NEAYC try contacting Linda Pepper, I worked with her when I was at the Washington D.C. Child Care and Resourse and Referal Center. She is in charge of the Accredidation Facitaion Project for NAEYC. If you are not familiar with this organization you will enjoy learing what they do for early childhood education. I am looking forward to reading more about what you learn about them!
