My Supports

I am blessed to have a strong support system within my family and friends as well as my church family.  My father, mother and sister are my biggest cheerleaders as well as motivators in everything I attempt.  It makes my heart smile to hear my dad talk about how proud of me he is and this only makes me want to reach higher.

My challenge I chose to imagine was the thought of not belonging or having a since of togetherness.  I know that there are families out there that are not structured as mine; and I'm sure as they do that I could make it, but I don't feel I would have the same appreciation for family and the vital need children have to belong.

  1. I think it is wonderful that you are so close to your family. So many families seem to struggle with the togetherness you mentioned, which really is sad. I can relate to what you said about your father because my dad is my number one supporter now. My dad and I have not always seen eye to eye which is probably why I value my father as much as I do now. Thank you for sharing!

  2. It is so great that you have the such a great support system. Your family seems to have such a huge impact on you. I totally agree with your feeling of belonging. I am the same way. I come from a very small family, and I am the youngest in the family. At times it is hard to connect with some of my family members since I am so much younger. Thanks for sharing, I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way.

  3. Hi Tiffany, I think it is great that your family is such a huge support for you. My father was abusive and so I feel a little jealous when I hear you speak about how close you and your dad are - but I think that is great and it helps to remind me that there are some good fathers out there! Thanks for sharing! Delores
